Fairly comprehensive, but ultimately missing information here and there. While I understand this book was not solely focused on endo, and there's conflicting information out there, the author did make a point to bring up endo quite a lot, which is why I was surprised by the times it wasn't brought up. Endo also increases your risk of ectopic pregnancies and generally miscarrying. It is a very common cause of infertility. It increases your chances of ovarian cancer.
The author also talked about endo at the beginning of the chapter about menopause, but did not mention how these hormonal treatments could negatively impact someone with endo as it's a disease that is fueled by estrogen.
Oh and the chapter on birth control mentioned Slynd, a progesterone only birth control, but failed to mention how this medication has a warning on it about blood clots.
Entering my villain era (DNFing a book).
Honestly, I have nothing nice to say about this book. It desperately needs an editor who will go through it and ask the author, “does the reader need to know this obscure detail? Does this detail actually matter at all?”
And that would probably make this book more readable.
I truly do not have the capacity to be SO bored from a book right now. I'm looking to escape reality, not prefer it over whatever I'm reading.
Idk I'm honestly a low key certified man hater, so this was a vibe for me tbh. I'm also a justice junkie, so... You know I love to see justice being exacted.
I appreciated the way things were connected, even if it might've been a bit far fetched.
Some of the characters were truly insufferable, but I also couldn't stop. I don't have any regrets though.
I'm really on a roll with my feminine rage, men being murdered for excellent reason by women reading.
