I really enjoyed this! Magic School but just a bit darker than usual.

A strange and brilliant book that blends satire, fantasy, and philosophy in unexpected ways.

Dead Silence had a fantastic final act — the last 40% hooked me and delivered everything I hoped for. If the whole book had that energy, it would’ve been a 5-star read for me. The beginning felt slow and took a while to pull me in, but overall it’s still a solid, enjoyable book.

I really enjoyed Kindling! The story was gripping and the emotional depth kept me hooked throughout. My only struggle was that I sometimes got confused about which character's perspective I was reading—some of them felt too similar in voice. A bit more distinction between the characters would have made it even stronger. Still, a great read overall and one I'd definitely recommend to fantasy lovers.
